Meine Fotografie 

Fotografie bedeutet für mich Geschichten zu erzählen in einem einzigen Bild. Menschen zu berühren, sie zum Weiterdenken und Weiterkonstruieren anzuregen. In einer lauten und schnellen Welt einen leisen, fokussierten Moment mit Kopf, Herz und Hand zu erschaffen, der bleibt.

Photography means for me to tell stories in a single image. To touch people, to encourage them to think further and to continue constructing. In a loud and fast world, to create a quiet, focused moment with head, heart, and hand that remains.

Das Wundersame im Alltäglichen

In meinen Fotografien erkunde ich die feinen Zwischenräume von Erinnerung, Begegnung und Wahrnehmung. Mich interessieren jene Augenblicke, die im Alltag oft unbemerkt bleiben – flüchtige Gesten, Schatten, Blicke und stille Verbindungen zwischen Menschen.

Die Kamera dient mir als Mittel der Verdichtung. Aus spontanen und authentischen Momenten entstehen Bilder, die sich von ihrem ursprünglichen Kontext lösen und neue Bedeutungsebenen eröffnen. Realität und Imagination treten dabei in einen Dialog.

Vorwiegend in Schwarz-Weiß arbeite ich mit Licht, Kontrasten und Reduktion. Menschen erscheinen als Spuren, Silhouetten oder fragile Präsenzen innerhalb einer Bildwelt, die zwischen Sichtbarkeit und Erinnerung oszilliert. Mich fasziniert, wie das vermeintlich Kleine und Unscheinbare zu einem Träger von Geschichten, Emotionen und Sehnsuchtsräumen werden kann.

Ich verstehe meine Fotografien als visuelle Poesie – Einladungen, innezuhalten und das Vertraute mit einem neuen Blick zu betrachten.

The miraculous in the everyday

In my photographs, I explore the subtle spaces between memory, encounter, and perception. I am interested in those moments that often go unnoticed in everyday life – fleeting gestures, shadows, glances, and silent connections between people.

The camera serves as a means of condensation for me. From spontaneous and authentic moments, images arise that detach from their original context and open up new levels of meaning. Reality and imagination enter into a dialogue in this process.

Primarily working in black and white, I use light, contrasts, and reduction. People appear as traces, silhouettes, or fragile presences within an image world that oscillates between visibility and memory. I am fascinated by how the seemingly small and inconspicuous can become carriers of stories, emotions, and spaces of longing.

I understand my photographs as visual poetry – invitations to pause and view the familiar with a new perspective.

Meine Fotografien wirken oftmals im Zusammenspiel mit Texten und lyrischen Gedankenfragmenten - collagiert und eingewoben in psychologische Phänomene und zutiefst menschliche Themen und Gefühle.
